Friendly first orthodontic visits for kids and gentle, early care when it’s needed. We help your child’s smile grow up healthy, with two welcoming offices close to home.
Most kids don’t need full braces until later, but a quick visit around age 7 can help us spot anything that might benefit from early attention. The good news? Most kids don’t need treatment right away. We keep a friendly eye on things as their smile develops.
You might want to bring your child in if you’ve noticed:
If any of this sounds familiar, we’d love to take a friendly look. First consultations are always free, and there’s never any pressure to start treatment.
The goal of early care isn’t always to start treatment right away; it’s to make sure your child’s smile has the best possible chance to grow healthily. Catching things early often means simpler, shorter care later on (or sometimes, no treatment at all).
A few of the ways early orthodontic care helps:
At your child’s free first visit, Dr. Agnetta will take a friendly look, explain anything he sees in plain language, and walk you through whether (or when) treatment makes sense. No pressure, no rush.
If your child does need early treatment, it’s usually gentler and simpler than full braces. The right approach depends on what your child’s smile needs, and we’ll walk you through every option in plain language.
Not sure what your child needs? That’s exactly what the free first visit is for. We’ll take a look, explain everything clearly, and recommend only what your child actually needs, never more.
Helping your child’s smile grow in health shouldn’t feel out of reach. We work hard to keep things straightforward, no surprise fees, no pressure, just honest answers and flexible options.
The cost of early orthodontic care depends entirely on what your child needs. Many first visits don’t lead to any treatment at all, and if treatment is recommended, we’ll walk you through it all at the visit, in plain language.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first visit by age 7. That doesn’t mean braces are needed at that age, it just gives us a chance to make sure your child’s smile is developing the way it should. Most kids don’t need treatment right away.
Most kids don’t. The whole point of an early visit is to check, and most of the time, no treatment is needed. If something would benefit from early attention, we’ll explain why and what it involves. If not, we’ll say so just as honestly.
Phase 1 is a first round of focused, gentle treatment for kids whose smiles need a little extra help while they’re still growing. It often involves things like an expander, a small appliance, or limited braces, and is followed later by Phase 2 (typically full braces) once all adult teeth come in. Not every child needs Phase 1.
Often, yes, most kids who have Phase 1 treatment go on to have a shorter or simpler round of braces later (Phase 2). Early care doesn’t replace future treatment, but it usually makes it easier, faster, or more effective.
Not at all. Most early orthodontic treatment is gentle, and kids adjust quickly. There may be a little pressure or tenderness for a day or two after a new appliance is placed or adjusted, but most kids feel back to normal within a couple of days.
We’d love to meet your family. Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or ready to take the next step, we’re here to help, with friendly answers, honest guidance, and zero pressure.
Your first visit is always free.
